Internet became nassasity rather than luxury. Most of our electronic devices are becoming smart. So in this era of internet, internet speed matters a lot.

As era of android smartphone grown, our internet bandwidth also grown, Low internet speed cause headache. When we had java phone 32KBps speed would be enough but we need at least 10times more to browse on android phone.

While downloading files internet speed matters a lot. If you are downloading file of 3GB then you always You always want to know what is current internet speed of phone because it will consume time and can occur download error. There is a lots of online sites to check your internet speed but it takes time. If we always need to know the internet speed then why we don't add it on android notification bar?

How to Show Real Time/Live Internet Speed on Android Notification Bar Without Rooting?

I will discuss two methods to show live internet speed on android phone. In both methods you don't need rooted android phone you can do this with unrooted android phone. One method requires apps and another doesn't.

How to Show Internet Speed on Notification Bar on Android Without any App/Software?

Some smartphone brands such as Oppo has function to show live internet speed on notification bar you can simply enable it, you don't need any apps just follow these steps to enable it

•  Go to Setting
• Click on Display

• You will see an option named Display Network Speed turn it on.
• Done, Now internet speed will be shown on notification bar.

How to Show internet speed on notification bar of any android bar without rooting.

If first method didn't worked for you or simply your android phone don't have such preloaded function then you need to download a app named Internet Speed Meter Lite from google Play Store.

• Download and install Internet Speed Meter Lite app from Google Play Store.

  

  Checking Live internet Speed on android

• Open it, You will see live internet speed on android notification bar.

There is lot more feature on pro version you can buy it to active all features.

If you want to show live (Real Time) upload/download speed  in notification bar then,

• Open the app
• Click on 3dots located on top right.
• Go to preface,
  
• You will find checkbox labeled Show Up/Down Speed check on that label.
• Done, Live Upload/Download speed will appear on android notification bar.

If you want alternative to Interned Speed Meter Lite then there is another good apps named Internet Speed Meter. You can use this app too to show real time internet speed, but it will show internet speed on right side of notification bar. It will show real time upload download speed on your android phone.
